Curriculum & Accreditations
Curriculum
In order to ensure excellence across the curriculum, WCS engages
in an ongoing process of curriculum evaluation. Currently we have
a wide variety in our curriculum ranging from an Elementary curriculum
of Open Court in reading, ACSI in Bible and Math, and CSI in science
to a Middle and High School curriculum of CSI in Bible, Addison
Wesley and Glencoe in science and Holt Rinehart in Literature. Our
goal in curriculum is to be focused on academic excellence grounded
in a Christian worldview.
Accreditations
Westminster Christian School is currently accredited by the Georgia
Association of Christian Schools (GACS) and a member of Association
of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are currently members
of the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) and the
Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and we expected
to receive dual accreditation in the spring of 2006.
